The Arizona Women’s Chorus performs many different kinds of music, ranging from Pop to Classical. Our repertoire is as varied as the women in the chorus, and yet always entertaining. The chorus has nearly 60 members from all walks of life in the greater Tucson area. Our Board is made up of community members who support choral singing and its benefits to the community. As one of the few choruses which go out into the community to perform, we plan full seasons of engagements every winter and spring, entertaining local service and business groups, nursing homes, retirement communities, and special events. We highly value collaborating with local and international artists. The Women’s Chorus has performed with such groups as the Tucson Symphony for the Oro Valley Annual July 4th concert, TCC with the Arizona Symphonic Winds, the Son’s of Orpheus, the Tucson Youth Chamber Ensemble, The Tucson Girls Chorus, The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, HarpFusion, Tucson Concert Band, Rene Clausen and the Concordia choir of Moorehead, Minnesota, Kirby Shaw, Rollo Dilworth, Jovert (Steel Drum Band from Tucson High School), Carnegie Hall, New York City, and Normandy, France for the 2016 D-Day Wreath Laying Ceremonies.
